At last night's special school board meeting, the board unanimously voted to hire consultant Dr. Dan Patterson to assist in the superintendent search.

So the board gets to handpick the community members that serve on on the committee? And not one of the people who most consistently have invested their time in this issue are on the list.

It never ceases to amaze me how we (the school) has NO money until a job comes up that no one in the system smart enough to to do like find a new super. Really!! I also really object to having a half day cancelled for a service not school related but God forbid a student misses a day for dental or some other appointment.
